The Korea Responsible Care Council was established by industries and institutions involved in petrochemistry, specialty chemistry, fertilizers and soda. The American Chamber of Commerce in Korea and the European Union Chamber of Commerce in Korea have joined us to promote 'Responsible Care' for the improvement of the environment, as well as safety and health for the world chemical industry.

'Responsible Care' involves voluntary activities for the chemical companies. In other words, the chemical industry makes constant efforts to promote activities for the improvement of the environment and for the safety and health of the people. It begins with management and is carried it out through the whole process of chemical products beginning with their development and manufacture, sales, distribution, use, and finally with waste treatment and disposal.
